Tomato – Tiny Tim


(Lycopersicon Lycopersicum).

Very short plants with masses of miniature scarlet fruit typically 3cm across. Kids love them. Ideal for containers with plants growing to 30 cm.

Sow August and Sept-ember (cold), August to November (warm) and all year in the tropics. Transplant around 6 weeks later to 30 cm. apart. Use of a heat tray is recommended in cool areas.  Plant outdoors when all danger of frost is past (cold and temp), spacing plants about 60cm apart with 1 to 1.5 metres between rows. Keep soil moist but avoid either too much or too little water. Expect germination in 12 days at 26 deg. C. soil temperature.
