Tomato – Siberian


(Lycopersicon Lycopersicum).

Capable of producing fruit in short season situations. Vigorous non staking plants with distinct foliage.  Capable of producing its medium sized round red fruit under cool conditions.

Sow seeds under glass August to October (cold) August to December (warm) and all year  in the tropics. Transplant 60 cm apart around 6 weeks later with 1 to 1.5 metres between rows. Use of a heat tray is recommended in cool areas.  Germinates in 10 – 12 days at 26 deg. C. soil temperature. Keep soil moist but avoid either too much or too little water.
