Giant Column Stocks have dense, showy spikes of perfumed flowers which are large and double. Growing 60 – 75cm tall. Used by Florists in flower arranging. Ruby is a Deep Crimson colour.

Sow either in trays or where they are to grow. 3mm deep in rows 30cm apart, mid-summer – Autumn (cold & temp), Autumn in the Tropics. Expect germination in 10 – 14 days at 21 degrees C. soil temperature. Flowers in about 20 weeks. They are quite heavy feeders and benefit from a fortnightly application of liquid fertiliser. Heat can shunt the plants.
