Radish – Mini Daikon Red


(Raphanus sativus).


Small, plump, oval shaped with a bright red skin. The lovely firm flesh is both hot and sweet in flavour. The tops are also eaten and are a good spicy addition to any salad. Highly prized in Chinese cuisine.

Sow into a soil that was well manured for a previous crop.  Sow 1 cm deep throughout the year in all but the coldest areas.  Make small regular sowings for continuous supplies. Expect germination in 1 week at 18 deg. C. soil temperature.

CAUTION Seed may be treated with a pre-emergence fungicide. Do not use as stock food. Only for use as SEED for SOWING,
