Best sown May and June, 1 cm deep, thinning or trans-planting 5 to 7 cm apart. Space rows 25 cm apart. Choose an open, sunny site. Do not use fresh animal manure or blood and bone fertiliser close to sowing time. Does not keep well, so is best used soon after maturity. Germinates in 2 to 3 weeks depending on the soil temperature.
CAUTION Seed may be treated with a pre-emergence fungicide. Do not use as stock food. Only for use as SEED for SOWING,
