The best variety for summer growth. Large firm hearts can be expected from plants that are slow to go to seed in hot weather.

(space 30cm. apart): These are the traditional heading types and must be sown as recommended.

Best sown October to February 1 cm deep, thinning or transplanting to 30 cm apart.  Feed heavily and keep well watered at all times. Expect germination in 10 – 12 days at 21 deg. C. soil temp.
