Beans – Yardlong Climbing

(Vigna sesquipedalis).

A vigorous climbing cultivar of snake bean for warm areas, it is particularly useful where normal types may fail. This vigorous climber doesn’t quite live up to its name, having pale green pods to around 45 cm long. It is best when used young. Crops are not satisfactory in cold areas.
