Old Heirloom variety with high quality yellow podded dwarf butter bean with heavy crops of golden oval stringless 14cm pods. Short bushes.  Excellent colour and yields. Freezes well. Attractive white seeds with a brown eye.

Best sown October to January (cold), September to February (warm), and all year in the tropics.  Sow seed 3 to 5 cm deep, 8 cm apart, with 60 cm between rows.  Seed will germinate in 7 – 10 days at 21 deg.C. soil temperature.  Keep well watered, particularly when flowering. Feed well. Beans love humidity, particularly at flowering time, for good pod set.
